Jonathan Taylor

My great great grandfather was Jonathan Taylor. He was born January 15, 1826 in Lumberton, NC. I just recently came across that he was born in Lumberton, NC. He resided most of his life in the Guin Alabama area (northern Alabama). I found your web site and noticed you have a Jonathan listed as a son of Henry. Do you think this is the same Jonathan or do you know of another Jonathan? I have to believe their is a relationship somewhere.

I don't know hardly anything about Jonathan. I just found out through a cousin on the internet that he was from Lumberton. I also found out about him being in the 1st Alabama Cavalry (union army). I have a book that a cousin worked up many years ago (1981). Also attached is the first page of the book with Jonathan's children. And finally a family photo of their family. I will keep exploring and if you hear anything helpful let me know
