Henry Taylor, Sr.'s Bible Henry's Bible, 12 1/2 inches high by 10 inches wide and 4 inches thick, was copyright in 1873 by "Hubbard Bros., Loag, Pr., Phila." is bound in heavy leather, with gilt embossing. The tintypes shown below were originally inserted in oval cutouts in the back pages of the bible. Because of the resemblance of these men to the photograph of Henry Taylor, Jr. with his wife, Rosa Lee, it has been suggested that these could also be tintypes of Henry and/or his six brothers brothers who lived to adulthood. |
